Opqo supports external Bluetooth scanners from Koamtac and Zebra.
On Android
- Opqo supports all Koamtac Bluetooth scanners, and also Koamtac USB scanners and sleds.
- Opqo 24.11.0 adds support for Zebra Bluetooth scanners, connecting via Bluetooth classic.
On iOS
- Opqo supports Koamtac Bluetooth scanners that are MFi (Made for iPhone) certified
- Opqo 24.11.0 adds support for Zebra Bluetooth scanners, connecting via Bluetooth Low Energy (BTLE). Connection to Zebra scanners via MFi Bluetooth is not currently supported.
Notes for Zebra Scanners
- Opqo does not currently support "Scan to Pair" for Zebra scanners:
- On Android, the scanner must be placed into Bluetooth Classic (discoverable) mode, and the scanner should be manually paired to the Android device via Android Bluetooth settings.
- On iOS, the scanner must be placed into Bluetooth Low Energy mode. The scanner can then be connected to using the Scanner Settings tile in Opqo, once logged in.
- Zebra scanners must be configured to disable Host Trigger Mode. Refer to the manual for the scanner for the appropriate barcode to scan to disable this. If this is not done, the scan trigger on the scanner will be disabled when it is connected to a device, and you will be unable to scan.
- Currently, Zebra scanners may need to be unpaired before they can be paired to another device, or in some cases reconnected to the same device.
We are working to improve Zebra scanner pairing/connection in future versions of Opqo.
